Coaching aids in improving executive presence, social and situational awareness, confidence, presentation skills and communication. Coaching aids in advancing and developing leadership skills. Coaches help leaders gain new outlooks on their day-to-day work and can help leaders discover new insights, approach situations in different ways and uncover some of their blind spots.
The benefits of coaching are many; 80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills. 86% of companies report that they recouped their investment on coaching and more (source: Institute of Coaching 2009).
Coaching is not: Mentoring, Facilitation, Consulting, Psychology/Behavioral Health Care.
